Election Tycoon — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Big Cloud Games ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Election Tycoon mobile application ("the App") on iOS or Android.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Display name — chosen in-game for leaderboards and online features. Stored locally; sent to our servers only when you opt into online features (online leaderboards, async tournaments).
Purchase records — when you make an in-app purchase, the platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) processes payment and provides us with a receipt. We never see or store your payment-card details.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Gameplay events (Firebase Analytics) — anonymous events such as: screen views, election results, campaign actions, crisis responses, achievements unlocked, ads watched, language changes, session start/end, tournament participation, daily login. Used for game-design analytics and balance tuning. No personally identifiable information is included in these events.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) — automatic reports when the App crashes, including stack trace, device model, OS version, free memory, and the actions leading to the crash. Used solely to fix bugs.
Device information — device model, OS version, locale, screen size, unique installation identifier. Required by Firebase services and ad partners.
Approximate region — derived from the IP address by our service providers. Used to localize the App (e.g. show your in-game country flag) and for ad delivery. We do not store your IP address ourselves.
Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — used to send daily-quest reminders and event notifications, only if you grant notification permission.

2.3 Advertising

When ads are shown, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) receives: - The Advertising Identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) — only if you consent. - Approximate location, device type, language, and ad-engagement events.

You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time: - iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Election Tycoon → off. - Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

EU/EEA/UK users: a consent dialog (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) appears before the first ad. You may withdraw consent later via the in-game Settings → Privacy screen.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information listed above to: - Operate and improve the App (analytics, crash diagnosis, balance tuning). - Provide online features (leaderboards, async tournaments, cloud save). - Process in-app purchases (payment is processed by the store, not by us). - Show advertisements and measure their performance. - Send game-related push notifications you opted into. - Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making with legal effects, nor do we sell personal information to third parties.

4. Service Providers (Sub-Processors)

We share limited data with the following providers strictly to operate the App:

These providers act on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments. We do not share data with any party outside this list.

5. Data Retention

Crash logs: retained by Firebase for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
Analytics events: retained by Firebase for the period configured in our Firebase project (currently 14 months).
Cloud-saved progress: retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
Local saves: stored on your device only. Removed when you uninstall the App.

6. International Transfers

The App is operated from Türkiye. Our service providers (Google, Apple, Unity) operate globally and may transfer data to data centers in the United States or elsewhere. These transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Deletion — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
Restriction — limit how we use your data.
Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
Object — object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Withdraw consent — for any consent-based processing (advertising, notifications) at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

Election Tycoon is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

The App is rated: - Apple App Store: 12+ (Frequent/Intense Mature/Suggestive Themes — political content) - Google Play (IARC): Teen / PEGI 12

9. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including: - Save files signed with HMAC-SHA256 (tamper detection). - Cloud transport over HTTPS/TLS only. - Firebase Realtime Database security rules limit reads/writes to the authenticated user's own scope. - No payment-card data is collected or stored by us; payments are handled by the platform store.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our data practices change. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the change. Material changes will be communicated in-app before they take effect.
